Oshi no Ko manga, from the authors of Kaguya-sama: Love is War and Scum’s wish, gets an anime adaptation. Doga Kobo is animating the series and a teaser visual was revealed:
Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) is the director with Saori Tachibana (Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as assistant director. Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) is supervising the scripts and Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is doing the character design.
Oshi no Ko is a manga series written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has been serializing the series since April 23, 2020. Currently, the manga has 7 volumes with the 8th volume coming this June. The manga has sold over a million copies as of April 2021 and was also part of the top 10 manga fans want to see animated in this year’s AnimeJapan.
