Oshi no Ko Tops Best Spring 2023 Anime Charts Seventh Time in a Row

Oshi no Ko topped the Anime Corner’s best weekly anime polls for Spring 2023 season once again. This week marks the seventh time in a row for the anime, which premiered in mid-April and was therefore not a part of the first week’s ranking. Anime fans seem to be enjoying the mystery that takes place in the world of showbiz – so much so that no other title has managed to dethrone it.

The Dangers in My Heart and Tengoku Daimakyo both made big leaps this week but were unable to even come close to Oshi no Ko with its 10.83% of the votes. This week’s episode of Doga Kobo’s anime focused on Akane and her newfound determination.

Oshi no Ko anime is based on a manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) with art by Mengo Yokoyari. The manga began serialization in 2020 in the Weekly Young Jump magazine. The story focuses on the dark side of the entertainment industry. Yen Press licensed it in English.
