Overlord IV (Season 4) revealed a preview for the upcoming episode 7, which is set to air on Tuesday, August 16. The two preview videos are, as always, the “normal” version, narrated by Ainz (Satoshi Hino), and a special version narrated by a character(s) who will have significant importance or screen time in the episode. Last week’s special PV put the focus on Shalltear Bloodfallen, who is playing an important role in this arc.
The upcoming episode is titled “Frost Dragon Lord” and the special PV was narrated by a crowd of rowdy dwarves. The plot will follow the continuation of the battle for dwarves and we will be able to see a bit more of Ainz’s plans. Shalltear and Aura will deal with the monsters and it seems like the episode will feature some impressive battle scenes.
Naoyuki Ito is directing the Overlord Season 4 (Overlord IV) anime, with Satoshi Tasaki on character designs. Yukie Sugawara is overseeing the series composition and also writing the screenplay.
The Overlord anime series is based on light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. Season 2 and season 3 both aired during 2018, with studio MADHOUSE animating. Two recap movies by MADHOUSE were also released along the way. A new movie is also in the works, but no additional information is known at this time.
