The Overlord franchise is continuing to upload creditless versions of the opening and ending themes, and the ones used in season 2 are here. The anime is returning this summer, with a fourth season.

The theme songs are being released as part of the promotional activities for the upcoming fourth season, which is set for this summer. Opening and ending sequences for the first season were revealed in April. The Overlord anime is currently rebroadcasting seasons the first three seasons in Japan.
The first season of the Overlord anime aired in 2015. Season 2 and season 3 both aired during 2018, with studio MADHOUSE animating. Two recap movies, also by studio MADHOUSE, exist. A new movie is in the works, but there is still no information about the release date or the plot. The series is based on Overlord light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by So-bin. Overlord is a part of the Isekai Quartet lineup.
Season 4 of the Overlord was announced in May 2021. The trailer for the season was revealed in December of 2021 along with a trailer along with a visual and a 2022 release date. Naoyuki Ito is directing the fourth season, with Satoshi Tasaki on character designs. Yukie Sugawara is overseeing the series composition and also writing the screenplay.
