Overlord Season 4 is continuing and the preview for episode 2 is here, in two versions. It appears that the previews will always have a “normal” version, narrated by Ainz, and a special version, which is usually narrated by a different character who will somehow be present in the episode. The episode is set to air on July 12.
As a Prime Minister of Nazarick, Albedo sets out to visit the Re-Estize kingdom, which suffered catastrophic damage in their previous war with the empire. The second prince Zanack and his sister Renner are struggling to rebuild the country. Albedo’s visit overwhelms everyone, but she is soon approached by a shabby-looking nobleman who asks her for help…
The special version of the Overlord Season 4 episode 2 preview video is narrated by Koji Fujiyoshi and Kiyono Yasuno, who voice Zanack and Renner:
Naoyuki Ito is directing the Overlord Season 4 (Overlord IV) anime, with Satoshi Tasaki on character designs. Yukie Sugawara is overseeing the series composition and also writing the screenplay.
The Overlord anime series is based on light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. Season 2 and season 3 both aired during 2018, with studio MADHOUSE animating. Two recap movies by MADHOUSE were also released along the way. A new movie is also in the works, but no additional information is known at this time.
