Parallel Paradise Could Be Getting An Anime

Parallel Paradise might have an anime project planned. No details are known yet, except the fact that 2 web domains have been registered for the franchise. They are https://parallelparadise.jp and https://parallelparadise.net. The original work is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Lynn Okamoto. It has been serialized in Weekly Young Magazine since March 2017, and currently has 12 volumes. The cover of the first one:

The manga also got an English release since 2019, but here’s why an anime would be surprising. Synopsis by Seven Seas Entertainment:

Tada Youta, a seemingly normal young man with a background in martial arts, has his life upended when a terrifying creature drags him into another world. He’s shocked to find himself in a land with castles and dragons and colored moons in the sky, where the only humans who roam are women! Not only is Youta the first man in this world for centuries, but his touch can activate a powerful desire within the women around him. Guided into this strange new land by a beautiful paladin, Youta is about to embark on his ultimate fantasy adventure!

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD:

What the synopsis doesn’t mention, however, is how much R-rated content there is. The main character literally has sexual intercourse with most of the girls he meets in the world. He got isekaid into a place where men are extinct after all. I really wonder how Parallel Paradise could work out as an anime, but then again, Redo of Healer worked out somehow. The anime fandom has some potential controversy to look forward to I guess.

Another interesting fact is that Lynn Okamoto is also the author of Brynhildr in the Darkness and Elfen Lied! And to conclude, the domains could be for something other an anime too. Nothing’s sure until an official announcement comes.
