Rimuru, Veldora and Diablo All Rank in Top 4 Best Male Characters of Summer 2021

While Tensura had a slow start and ranked 6th overall in the Anime of the Season of Summer 2021 poll, Rimuru, Veldora and Diablo all ranked in the top 4 best male characters! Bocchan from The Duke of Death and His Maid won 1st place, and the beloved slime and his followers were immediately behind. The difference between Bocchan and Rimuru was 0.48% of votes, and the total number of voters was 15,422. The difference from Veldora is even less, sitting at only 0.17%!

You can also view the full rankings for Summer 2021 characters of the season. Interestingly enough, Tensura also had 3 girls rank in Top 10 Best Girls ranking. Shuuna, Shion and Milim placed 4th, 6th and 9th, respectively. The winner was Siesta from The Detective is Already Dead, despite the show ranking 19th overall. Tensura did blow up when Walpurgis started, even ranking 1st twice in a row. A movie sequel was confirmed and will premiere in Fall 2022. Do you think Rimuru, Veldora and Diablo deserve their ranking for the best boy of Summer 2021? We’ll be seeing them more next year, so let’s look forward to it!

As for this season, our Week 1 results are already out. The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat ranked 1st, ahead of Mieruko-chan and Mushoku Tensei. You can vote for Week 2 now, and more shows will be premiering in the next few days. For today, Demon Slayer will be making a return with the Mugen Train TV anime.
