Rurouni Kenshin (2023) has released a new key visual and trailer for the upcoming second part of the Tokyo arc. The visual features the new characters that will be introduced in episode 8, and you can check it below:

The second part of the arc will revolve around the case of Megumi Takani (C.V. Saori Oonishi), one of the upcoming main characters of the series. Aoshi (C.V. Yuma Uchida), also featured in the key visual and trailer, will play a big role as well.
Rurouni Kenshin (2023) premiered on July 6, 2023, and it currently has released 7 episodes as of August 17. Hideyo Yamamoto is directing the anime at studio Liden Films. You can watch the entire series on Crunchyroll.
Rurouni Kenshin was originally a Japanese manga series by Nobuhiro Watsuki. Shueisha published the entire series in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1994 to 1999, and it had a total of 28 volumes in circulation. The series had its first anime adaptation from 199 to 1998 along with several OVAs, and a total 5 live action films from 2012 to 2021.
Viz Media serialized the original Rurouni Kenshin manga series in English and describes the plot as:
One hundred and forty years ago in Kyoto, with the coming of the American “Black Ships,” there arose a warrior who, felling men with his bloodstained blade, gained the name Hitokiri, manslayer! His killer blade helped close the turbulent Bakumatsu era and slashed open the progressive age known as Meiji. Then he vanished, and with the flow of years, became legend.
