The Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts TV anime adaptation has revealed the first key visual, along with a teaser trailer and 2023 premiere date. The anime will be produced by studio J.C. Staff, with Chiaki Kon as the director. You can watch the teaser trailer:

Kana Hanazawa plays Sariphi, while Satoshi Hino will play the King of Beasts, Leonhart. Two more cast members were annoucned, and they are Yuka Nukui as Cy and Natsumi Fujiwara as Clops.

Besides the director Chiaki Kon, the staff includes Seishi Minakami in charge of the series composition, Shinya Hasegawa as the character designer, Jin Aketagawa as the sound director, and Kohta Yamamoto will be in charge of the music.
Yu Tomofuji writes and draws the original Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts manga, which was serialized in Hakusensha’s shojo manga magazine Hana to Yume from November 2015 to October 2020. Yen Press licensed it in English, and they describe the story:
A young girl has resigned herself to being he next sacrificial meal for the Beast King…but the king is no mere monster! Love is more than skin-deep in this gorgeous fantasy manga.
