JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 Episode 18 Synopsis

Sukuna destroyed the streets of Shibuya, killed numerous people, and defeated Fushiguro’s Shikigami Makora. Yuji woke up and saw the horrific situation. With pathetic determination on his face, Yuji paces like a ghost. Meanwhile, Nanami, exhausted and in a daze, continues to exorcise the remodeled people who are swarming around him. But then, Mahito appears…

The first part of the anime covered the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, before moving on to the Shibuya Incident arc on August 31. The main cast is reprising their roles. The main staff for JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 2 includes:

  • Director: Shota Goshozono
  • Assistant Director: Ryota Aikei
  • Series Composition/ Screenplay: Hiroshi Seko
  • Character Design: Tadashi Hiramatsu
  • Sub Character Design: Sayaka Koiso
  • Art Director: Junichi Higashi
  • Music: Yoshimasa Terui

Studio MAPPA animated both the 24-episode first season and movie for the franchise. Akutami Gege writes and draws the original manga, which is licensed by VIZ Media in English. Crunchyroll streams both the anime and movie, and they describe the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.

JUJUTSU KAISEN ranked third in our seventh weekly poll this season after the Sukuna episode, and you can vote for the anime to rank higher in week 8!
