The official Twitter account for the upcoming rom-com anime Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie announced that the show’s premiere has been delayed by a week, and it will release its first episode on April 9 instead of the previously planned April 2 due to “organizational reasons”. Studio Doga Kobo is in charge of the production, and the main cast was previously revealed. You can see the teaser visual for Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime:

Yuki Nakashima is in charge of the opening song for the anime, while Nasuo☆ is in charge of the ending. Saori Onishi (Wallenstein Ais in Danmachi, Kaori in Arifureta) will voice Shikimori, while Shuichiro Umeda will voice Izumi. Nobuhiko Okamoto, Rina Hidaka, and Misato Matsuoka also joined the cast as Induka, Hachimitsu, and Nekozaki. Kodansha is publishing the manga in English, and they describe the story:
Shikimori seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute, fun to be around, sweet when she wants to be… but she has a cool dark side that comes out under the right circumstances. And her boyfriend Izumi loves to be around when that happens! A fun and funny high school romance with a sassy twist perfect for fans of Nagatoro-san and Komi Can’t Communicate!
The delay extends the premiere by 1 week, but Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie anime is still coming in spring, along with a lot more romantic comedies!
