The upcoming rom com anime A Couple of Cuckoos has revealed the main trailer, a new visual, as well as an April 2022 release date. Studios Shin-Ei Animation (Teasing Master Takagi-san) and studio SynergySP will take care of the production. Watch the new trailer:
Kaito Ishikawa (Tobio Kageyama, Sakuta Azusagawa) and Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado, Tsukasa Yuzaki) voice the protagonists Nagi and Erika. Nao Toyama voices Hiro Segawa, while Konomi Kohara voices Umino Sachi. You can see the new key visual:

Kodansha USA publishes the manga in English, and they describe the story:
16-year-old super-studier Nagi Umino, second-year student at the Meguro River Academy high school, was switched at birth. On his way to a dinner to meet his birth parents, he accidentally meets the brash, outspoken, Erika Amano. She wants to make Nagi her fake boyfriend as she never wants to actually marry. But once Nagi makes it to dinner, he finds his parents have decided to resolve the hospital switch by conveniently having him marry the daughter his birth parents raised…who turns out to be none other than Erika herself!
The main trailer shows all the characters of A Couple of Cuckoos, and the April 2022 release date means it’s only a few months away!
