The results of the Spring 2021 Anime of the Season rankings have arrived!
In case you missed it, from April 02, 2021 to July 02, 2021, Anime Corner conducted weekly surveys for the Spring 2021 anime season. Throughout the season, 48,250 people participated in our surveys, and our results are based on the total data that we have gathered so far.
This season, we ran weekly polls from Week 1 to Week 12, followed by a final poll called “Anime of the Season” from June 25 to July 2, 2021.
The data from our final poll received 55% of the weight in the score ranking, while data from our weekly polls received the remaining 45%. The 45 percent weight is distributed over the course of twelve weeks using various methods, resulting in multiple data sets that are then averaged.
It’s a weighted ranking, and we chose this method to achieve a more balanced outcome.
We have done our best to eliminate spam and data duplication by recording each user’s IP address and allowing only one vote per option for a specific poll via that address to ensure data integrity.
In other words, if you attempt to re-vote for a poll option while browsing incognito, your vote will be discarded. If you haven’t already done so, you can always return to vote in a poll as long as it’s open.
Before we continue, we’d like to point out that “So I’m a Spider, So What?” was only permitted in our weekly polls for data representation purposes, and it was not included in our calculations for “Spring 2021 Anime of the Season” rankings because it is considered a Winter 2021 anime.
Furthermore, the rankings below should not be used to influence your decision to watch shows ranked lower than the Top 10, as each show has its own distinct style, and everyone’s taste in anime differs. This season was jam-packed with surprises and fantastic shows that we will undoubtedly miss.
