Spy Classroom Reveals Spring Visual Ahead of Season 2 Premiere

Spy Classroom anime revealed a spring-themed visual earlier today. The anime is getting a second season, which will premiere this July.

Studio feel animated the first season of the anime based on a light novel written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari. Keiichiro Kawaguchi was the director, with Shinichi Inozume on the series composition. Sumie Kinoshitadid the character designs. The series is known as Spy Room in Japan. The main cast includes:

  • Sora Amamiya as Lily
  • Yuichiro Umehara as Klaus
  • Aoi Yuki as Monika
  • Nao Toyama as Sybilla
  • Miku Ito as Grete
  • Sumire Uesaka as Thea
  • Ayane Sakura as Sara
  • Tomori Kusunoki as Annette

Yen Press licensed the light novel in English and describes the plot as:
Following a devastating military conflict, countries fight their wars in the shadows. One unusual spy, Klaus, has never failed on the job despite his quirks, and he is building a team to take on an Impossible Mission—one with over a 90 percent chance of failure. However, his chosen members are all washouts with no practical experience. They’ll have to use every trick in the book (and some that aren’t) to prove they’re up to the task!
