Spy x Family anime and Burger King are launching a Peanut Butter Royale collaboration menu. The menu contains three types of burgers: crispy bacon, sweet and sour berries, and crispy chicken. Each one will feature Anya-inspired peanut butter sauce, as well as a traditional Burger King beef patty.
Those who buy a Peanut Butter Royale set (all three burgers) will have a chance to get a Spy x Family paper apron and stickers (both limited in quantity). The collab is happening only in Japan and potential visitors can check out apron availability in Burger King stores on a special website (the stickers will be distributed at random). Spy x Family/Burger King collab is launching on October 21 and will last until November 17.
Spy x Family anime is currently airing its second cour: episode 16 will air on this Saturday. WIT Studio and CloverWorks are animating the series based on Tatsuya Endo’s manga, which is being serialized in Shonen Jump+ online magazine. The manga currently has over 26 million copies in circulation and has recently published its 10th volume. The plot follows a spy named Twilight who is forced to come up with a makeshift family to fulfill his mission. Viz Media licensed the manga in English and describes the plot as:
Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the wife he’s chosen is an assassin and the child he’s adopted is a telepath!
