The Summer 2021 anime season brought us tons of beautiful and catchy openings and endings so far, and we collected data to see which were streamed most on Spotify. The full and top 10 Spotify stream rankings for Summer 2021 openings/endings are available below.
Note that not all openings/endings from Summer 2021 have been officially released on Spotify, and all streams are counted as of August 18, 2021 and rounded to the nearest thousand. We will be updating this data at the end of the season with all the newly released songs.
The Re-Main opening “Forget Me Not” by K-Pop group ENHYPEN secured the #1 rank with 2,782,000 streams!
The second ending of Tokyo Revengers “Tokyo Wonder.” by Nakimushi took the #2 spot, and the second opening of My Hero Academia Season 5 “Merry-Go-Round” by MAN WITH A MISSION took the #3 spot. What’s more, last season, the opening and ending songs of these two also dominated the Top 10.
