Summoned to Another World… Again? Reveals April 8 Premiere With New Trailer and Visual

Summoned to Another World… Again? now has a new trailer and a key visual, along with an April 8 premiere date. The previous trailer revealed the opening theme song (“Continue Distortion” by S.S.NiRVERGE∀) while this one revealed the ending, “Be ambitious!!!” by MAYBE ME. Studio elle is animating the adaptation.

In addition to the new trailer and key visual, the Summoned to Another World… Again? anime also revealed new cast additions:

• Takuma Nagatsuka as Toma
• Yui Ogura as Shironeko
• Rina Honnizumi as Mineko
• Satomi Akesaka as Loa

Motoki Nakanishi is directing the anime, with Yukihito on series composition. Mikako Kuni is credited for character designs and Manzo will be composing the music. The main cast includes:

• Kaori Maeda as Elka
• Saori Onishi as Desastre
• Fairouz Ai as Levia
• Satomi Amano as Yuhi
• Shun’ichi Toki as Setsu

The original Summoned to Another World… Again?! light novel by Kazuha Kishimoto was first published as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Futabasha published it in print, with illustrations by Shimahara. It ran for a total of 121 chapters from December 2015 to August 2017. A manga adaptation by Arashiyama began in July 2018 and is currently ongoing. Coolmic is releasing it in English, and they describe the story:
There was once a hero who was summoned to another world, and he saved that world. However, the man was caught in a “trap” and was forcibly returned to his original world. On top of that, he had to start over as a baby… This is the story of a crazy journey in another world where a former hero who was reincarnated into a slightly gloomy high school student is “resummoned” back to that same world!
