Super Mario Bros. Movie Reveals Japanese Dub Cast

The upcoming animated film The Super Mario Bros Movie opened its official Twitter and website on Wednesday and revealed the Japanese dub cast and character visuals. Voice actor Mamoru Miyano is dubbing Mario, Tasuku Hatanaka as Luigi, Arisa Shida as Princess Peach, Kenta Miyake as Bowser, and Tomokazu Seki as Toad. The Japanese version of the trailer which features the aforementioned dub cast was also released. The film is set to premiere on April 7 in the United States and April 28 in Japan.

Illumination and Nintendo are producing the film and distributing it by Universal Pictures. Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic are acting as directors with a script written by Matthew Fogel. The English voice cast includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong. s Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.
