Sweet Reincarnation Anime Reveals First Full Trailer, More Cast

The Sweet Reincarnation anime revealed the full first trailer along with some additional voice cast. Studio Synergy SP is animating the anime with the sweets-loving protagonist, with Naoyuki Kuzuya as the director. The anime previously revealed a teaser trailer and confirmed a July 2023 premiere date. Watch the new trailer:

Sweet Reincarnation – First Full Anime Trailer

The new cast members includes Hiroshi Tsuchida as Casserole, Rumi Okubo as Josephine, Yu Wakabayashi as Sheets, Kaya Okuno as Petra and Wataru Katoh as Squale. The previously revealed main cast includes

  • Ayumu Murase as Pastry Mille Morteln
  • Kaede Hondo as Licorice Mille Hubarek
  • Natsumi Fujiwara as Marcarullo Doroba
  • Maaya Uchida as Luminito Aidilichpa

The rest of the staff includes Mitsutaka Hirota on the series composition, Tomoko Miyagawa as the character designer, and Hiroshi Nakamura is composing the music.

Nozomu Koryu writes the original Sweet Reincarnation ((Okashi na Tensei: Saikyou Patissier Isekai Kourin) light novel series, with iillustrations by Yasuyuki Shuri. It began as a web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2015, and there is also a manga adaptation by Midori Tomizawa and Seriko Iida, which began in 2017. J-Novel Club licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story:
A pastry chef with a promising future is reborn as the son of a poor lord. The boy’s name is Pastry, and he will be the next lord of the territory. The struggles of young Pastry’s story begin here as he aims to make people smile with his desserts and create a land flourishing with happiness. The best sweet comes with the best tale. This is a sweet fantasy that takes the royal road to change the world!
