takt op.Destiny Reveals Key Visual, OP, ED, and Additional Cast

The upcoming takt op Destiny anime has revealed new characters, as well as OP and ED songs. The information came during a special “One Month Until Broadcast” live stream. The anime begins airing on October 5, 2021.

An advanced screening of the first two episodes will also take place on September 25th. Kouki Uchiyama, Shion Wakayama, and Kaede Hondo will be presenting the event. Tickets are not on sale yet.

Kouki Uchiyama is voicing the main character, Asahina Takt, a conductor who believes music comes first. The new cast reveals include Shion Wakayama who is voicing Destiny, a musicart with “fate” in her body. Kaede Hondo stars as Anna Schneider, Takt’s childhood friend, Miku Ito is Titan, while Satoshi Hino voices Lenny.

Daisuke Namikawa and Eiji Hanawa are also joining the cast, as Shintler and Zargan. Inore Minase is voicing Heaven, while Reina Ueda is Hell.

Opening and Ending Themes Revealed

Ryo from supercell, Mafumafu, and gaku are performing the opening theme, which is titled “Takt”. Mika Nakashima is singing the ED – “SYMPHONIA”.

Takt op.Destiny

takt op Destiny is a mixed-media project by DeNa and Bandai Namco Art. In addition to the anime, a game is also in the works. Set in New York City, in the year 2047. The world was destroyed in a war with a mysterious monster D2, which was created out of Black Night Meteorite that fell from the sky. Magical girls, “Musicarts” fight against the monster, while being led by the “Conductor”. Their goal is to bring music back to the destroyed world.

takt op Destiny anime is a collaboration between MADHOUSE and MAPPA. The story is an original work by Oji Hiori and DeNa. Yuki Ito is directing the anime, while Reiko Nagasawa is in charge of character designs. In addition, Yoshihiro Ike is composing the music.

The anime was announced earlier this year, with the first PV and key visual coming during MAPPA’s 10 Year Anniversary Stage. Teaser visual and PV are available.
