Tales of Wedding Rings' Granart Sends Strong Message In New Character Teaser, Trailer

The Tales of Wedding Rings anime is fast preparing for a January 2024 release, and the staff releases character teasers each week in order to help fans understand the cast better. Satou and Hime were introduced in the first week. The second week marked the introduction of the elf, Nephrites, and this week is Granart’s time to shine.

Hitomi Ueda voices Granart, who declares, that “the one who will become my husband must be stronger than I.” The new teaser trailer can be seen here:

Tales of Wedding Rings, known in Japan as Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari, debuted in 2014 under Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine. Currently ongoing, Tales of Wedding Rings has been collected in 13 volumes. The original creator, Maybe, has published two other works including Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts. Fans can look forward to further character visuals and trailers for Saphir and Amber in the coming weeks.

The manga series is published in North America by Crunchyroll and Yen Press. Yen Press describes the first volume as:

When Satou’s best friend, Hime, tells him that she’s moving, he decides to follow. After crashing her wedding in another world, he ends up as the groom when she suddenly kisses him! Prophecy states that her husband is destined to be the Ring King-a hero of immense power who will save the world from the Abyssal King! Is Satou up for the challenge, or is his new marriage going to end before it even begins?
