Voice actor and singer Tatsuhisa Suzuki is resuming all activities, his agency I’m Enterprise announced today. Suzuki went on hiatus last year but gradually started continuing his activities late last year. The agency stated that Suzuki’s health has improved enough to be able to go back to work in full capacity and that they will do their best to support him.
In August, some Japanese websites reported that Suzuki allegedly cheated on his wife, singer LiSA, with a female fan. After the news broke out both of them went on hiatus, with Suzuki citing health issues. LiSA later returned, but a number of Suzuki’s roles were terminated, including his band OLDCODEX, which is officially disbanding later this year. The band’s last song will be the theme song for the Free! Movie: The Final Stroke – Kouhen, which is coming on April 22, 2022.
Tatsuhisa Suzuki voices Anos in The Misfit of Demon King Academy and in December it was announced that he would not be returning for season 2. Later in December, it was also announced that he would not be reprising his role as Draken in the continuation of the Tokyo Revengers anime adaptation.
