The official Twitter for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) has released the first key visual and trailer for the upcoming anime movie, along with a November 2022 release date. The full title of the movie is That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Movie: Guren no Kizuna-hen, and it will have an original story by the creator Fuse. It will feature an original character called Hiiro, who has a connection with Benimaru. You can check out the new visual:
The story will be after Rimuru became a Demon Lord, and it is set in a new country called Raja (not official translation). Watch the new trailer:

Tensura is an anime adaption of the light novel by Fuse. The anime adaptation by 8bit has 48 episodes split across 2 TV seasons. Season 2 was voted as the 6th best 2021 anime of the year by our fans with votes from over 100,000+ people. It also has a spin-off anime titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which adapts one of the manga spin-off series. Yen Press publishes the original light novel in English, and they describe the story:
Lonely thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami is stuck in a dead-end job, unhappy with his mundane life, but after dying at the hands of a robber, he awakens to a fresh start in a fantasy realm…as a slime monster! As he acclimates to his goopy new existence, his exploits with the other monsters set off a chain of events that will change his new world forever!
The new trailer and key visual are the first information for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) movie since it was announced, and we’ll look forward to future updates.
