The Dangers In My Heart and MyGo Announce Theme Song Cover Collaboration

The Dangers In My Heart TV anime and MyGo from the BanG Dream! franchise are joining together for a special project. This collaboration was inspired by the fact that the main heroine of The Dangers In My Heart, Anna Yamada, shares the same voice actress, Hina Youmiya, with MyGo’s vocalist, Tomori Takamatsu. As part of this project, MyGo will be covering both the opening and ending songs for the second season of The Dangers In My Heart. A visual for the event has also been unveiled. BanG Dream! is a multimedia project that started in 2015 created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani. The franchise’s first anime premiered in January 2017 with 13 episodes then a sequel aired in January 2019 and a third season debuted the following year. MyGO is a band from the BanG Dream! franchise which was revealed in April 2022. The BanG Dream! website describes them as a band born from the synchronization of “reality” and “virtual.” Studio SANZIGEN is animating the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! anime with Koudai Kakimoto as director. The cast of the MyGo band includes Hina Youmiyas as Tomori Takamatstu (vocalist), Rin Tateishi as Anon Chihaya (guitar), Hina Aoki as Rana Kaname (guitar), Mika Kohinata as Soyo Nagasaki (bass), and Koko Hayashi as Taki Shina (drums).

The Dangers In My Heart TV anime is animated by studio Shin-Ei Animation. It is based on the manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai which has been ongoing since 2018. The first season premiered in April last year while the second season is set to begin broadcasting on January 7.
