The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made Season 2 revealed a new trailer along with January 13, 2023 premiere date. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime, which will be animated by studio HOTLINE. The sequel was announced in April of this year and the first trailer was revealed in August. Nano will perform the opening song “Evolution,” while Erii Yamazaki is in charge of the ending theme song “Adore Me.”
Yoshiaki Okumura is the chief director of the sequel, with Shigeru Fukase as the director. Gigaemon Ichikawa is in charge of the series composition. Iroha Mizuki and Nobuhide Hayashi are credited for character designs. Cast for the second season will include:
Studios feel (SNAFU) and Children’s Playground Entertainment co-produced the series, with studio Hotline (Kakushigoto) doing animation work. Yoshiaki Okumura directed the first season, while Gigaemon Ichikawa was in charge of the series composition. The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made (Shin Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei) anime is based on an isekai light novel by MIKU, which features U35’s illustrations and Umiko’s character designs. A manga adaptation by Sorano is also currently ongoing.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as:
High school student Hiiragi Seiichi is bullied by his classmates for being a “loser.” One day, his entire school is suddenly transported to a video game-like world of swords and sorcery. When he accidentally eats “the Fruit of Evolution,” his life as a successful “winner” begins.
