The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses Gets New Trailer, Key Visual

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses revealed a new key visual and trailer earlier today. Studio GoHands is animating the series, which will premiere in July of 2023. Masahiro Ito and Shion Wakayama are voicing the main duo, Kaede Komura and Ai Mie.

The trailer features the opening theme song “Name” by Tsuzuri. kemu was in charge of the music and arrangement, while DECO27 wrote the lyrics. The staff for the anime includes:

  • Character Designer: Takayuki Uchida

The anime is based on the manga by Koume Fujichika which was initially launched as a web manga on the author’s Twitter account in April 2018. Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine has been serializing the manga since November 2018.

Comikey is publishing the English version (digitally) and describes the plot as:
“If we can continue to keep getting closer like this, I’ll be happy…” Kaede Komura has a huge crush on his seat partner, Mie-san. She, however, has terrible eyesight, and tends to either forget or break her glasses! Komura-kun offers her a helping hand, and as they grow closer, their feelings for each other grow too.
