The official Twitter and website of The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent announced on Thursday that the series will be getting a season 2. The director of the first season, Shota Ibata (Domestic Girlfriend) will return to direct the next season alongside Wataru Watari (Girlish Number) who will handle the series composition. No release date was announced.
The series’ manga illustrator Fujiazuki also shared an artwork on Twitter to commemorate the the announcement of the second season:
The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent anime is adapted from the light novel series written by Yuka Tachibana and illustrated by Yasuyuki Syuri. The serialization of the light novel began in 2016 on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou. Kadokawa published the first volume in February 2017 and Seven Seas Entertainment is licensing both the light novel and manga. The first season is available to stream in Funimation and they describe the series as:
