The Vampire Dies in No Time Season 2 Officially Announced

Season 2 of The Vampire Dies in No Time has been officially confirmed. Previously, Amazon Japan listing for Volume 19 of the manga “announced” the sequel by posting a description.

An announcement teaser The Vampire Dies in No Time Season 2 is available, but is region-locked:

Studio MADHOUSE is producing The Vampire Dies in no Time 2, with the staff also returning. Hiroshi Koujina is directing with Mayuko Nakano as the character designer and chief animation director. Yukie Sugawara is in charge of series composition and screenplay.

The official Twitter account for the series posted the announcement earlier today, on the same day as the season 1 finale:

The story is based on a manga by Itaru Bonnoki, serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine. The plot follows a vampire hunter Ronaldo, who meets an unlikely friend. The friend, Draluc, is a vampire and the two make for a weird combination. But, Draluc is actually quite weak, and even the weakest attack turns him into dust. The two of them adventure together while encountering a number of ridiculous situations.

Jun Fukuyama and Makoto Furukawa are voicing Dralc and Ronaldo. Natsumi Hioka, Mutsumi Tamura and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka are also starring in the series.
