The “To Your Eternity” anime made its debut last week with its first episode, but there was no opening in the 25 minute story. The official YouTube Channel has released the clean (creditless) version of the opening theme song ahead of the 2nd episode, and it’s performed by none other than Hikaru Utada (Evangelion theme songs)! The title of the “To Your Eternity” opening theme is “PINK BLOOD” and it was used as the ED in the first episode, although without the visuals. You can check out the video below:
In addition, they also released the ending theme song “Mediator” composed by Masashi Hamauzu. Check that out as well:
Both the opening and ending songs and music throughout in the anime fit nicely, and episode 2 is already available on Crunchyroll. The story follows an immortal being as it starts living on Earth and learning the basics of acting like a human after first being an orb and then a wolf , and it will clearly have a lot of suffering for us.
