The official NHK anime Twitter announced the “To Your Eternity” season 2! Moreover, the second season of the anime adaptation is set to premiere in the Fall 2022 season.

What’s more, the first, 20 episodes long, season of “To Your Eternity” finished airing on August 30, 2021. Studio Brain’s Base (“Durarara!!,” “Oregairu,” “Baccano!”) was in charge of the show’s production. The show had its premiere on April 12, 2021. The “To Your Eternity” season 2 got announced on August 30, 2021.
“To Your Eternity” is an anime adaptation of the manga series written by Yoshitoki Ōima. It follows the story of a mysterious orb sent to Earth. It has no identity nor emotions, but through time it learns to take different forms. One day, it acquires the form of a boy and gains consciousness. The boy, Fushi, sets off to travel in search of new experiences, places, and people. “The journey begins.” The series features an opening sung by Hikaru Utada, “Pink Blood,” that managed to surpass 1 million views on YouTube in just a day.
