Toei Animation has officially announced that they confirmed a hack from March 6, which has affected the schedule of their TV anime series and ONE PIECE, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, Digimon Ghost Game and Delicious Party Precure have been affected. The message on their website reads:
We have confirmed that our network was illegally accessed by a third party on March 6 of this year, and we have shut down a part of our internal system.
We are currently investigating the details, but we have confirmed that the following TV animations produced by our company were affected: “Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai”, “Delicious Party ♡ Precure”, “Digimon Ghost Game”, and “ONE PIECE”.
We sincerely apologize for any concern this may cause to fans who have been eagerly awaiting these programs each week.
Following the hack, the official accounts for Toei Animation’s TV shows also posted updates. On the One Piece website, they posted that this has disrupted the production schedule, and they will post the schedule, starting with the episode scheduled for March 20, on their SNS.
The Twitter account for Digimon Ghost Game posted that they will inform of potential schedule changes.
The Twitter account for Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai confirmed that episode 73 has been delayed, and they will air episode 31 instead of on March 12.
The Twitter account for Delicious Party Precure also confirmed that episode 11 has been delayed from March 13, and episode 4 will air in its place.
