The results of the Fall 2020 Anime of the Season rankings have arrived! In case you missed it, Anime Corner conducted weekly surveys for the Fall 2020 anime season from October 02, 2020 to December 25, 2020. Over 20,000 people have participated in our surveys throughout this season, and our rankings are based on the data we have collected so far. In addition, we would like to point out that “Attack on Titan” was not part of the Fall 2020 seasonal poll, as our team decided to consider it a Winter 2021 anime series. Likewise, “Fire Force” was excluded from our survey as it continued without a seasonal gap from Summer and had already participated in the seasonal survey conducted during that season.
Before proceeding, we would like to point out that the results shown in the rankings are based on the results of the selected sample. It shouldn’t affect your decision to watch shows that are placed below the Top 10, as each show has its own distinct style, and everyone’s taste in anime is different. This season was packed with a lot of great shows that even a show below the 20th ranking was personally one of my favourites.

We would like to congratulate Akudama Drive on winning the top spot in our Anime of the Season rankings. The staff working on the franchise did a wonderful job. Even though the series debuted at 8th place in our polls, it continued to rise (with a few minor drops) until it reached a spot that was only second to “Attack on Titan” this season. Technically, it was at the top of this season for the last two weeks, as we only considered “Attack on Titan” in our weekly polls this season to collect data and showcase interest.
We would also like to congratulate “Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina” on winning the second position. In case you missed it, we worked with our friends at Mipon to conduct an interview with the creator in which he answered questions about our protagonists’ potential interest in love and much more. The series had a strong start in our poll, but on the basis of the data collected, it looks like fans enjoyed it and were more eager for the dark episodes. However, it was one of the favourite fans this season.
If you have not had a chance to participate in our weekly or seasonal poll in Fall 2020, don’t worry as we are currently conducting a survey for our fans anticipated shows for the anime season of Winter 2021. If you could share your interests with us on polls.animecorner.me, we’d appreciate it.
