The upcoming Trapezium movie revealed a new trailer and visual ahead of the May 10 premiere date in Japan. Studio CloverWorks is animating the movie with Masahiro Shinohara as the director.
Koji Masunari is supervising the movie, which will feature Rio’s character designs. Yuko Kakihara is writing the script, while Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. MAISONdes, Hoshimachi Suisei and sakuma are in charge of the theme song, which is titled “Nammo Nai.” The main cast includes:
Yurika Kubo, Hina Kino, Syoya Kimata (from JO1), and Teruyoshi Uchimura are also joining the cast
Trapezium will adapt Kazumi Takayama’s debut novel, serialized in Kadokawa’s Da Vinci imprint from 2016 to 2018 and also published as a book. The plot follows Yu, who to succeed, sets a few rules for herself: she will not use social media, she will not have a boyfriend, and she will make friends with girls from all over the world. Takayama commented on the adaptation, stating that creating a novel and an anime are two different challenges and that she hopes everyone will come to see the movie.
