The preview for episode 3 of Trigun Stampede has been released. The new episode, titled Light, Shine The Darkness will air on January 21 at 23:00 (JST). CGI studio Orange is animating the series, under Kenji Muto’s direction.
As Vash and the father-son criminal duo Gofsef and Nebraska from episode 2 make up the entirety of Jeneora Rock celebrate once again, as they are saved. However, creatures belonging to Lost Technology attack Gofsef, weakening him in the process.
Later on, self-propelled rockets fall into the city, causing mass panic. Vash and his friends check out who is manning the rockets, and find out it was E.G. the Mine. As Vash and the rest of the city try their best to fend off the rockets, a mysterious figure appears, alluding to the first face-off between Vash and Million Knives in the longest time.

Trigun Stampede is based on the Trigun manga series by Yasuhiro Nightow, which was serialized on the Monthly Shonen Captain from April 1995 to January 1997, and then moved to Young King OURs, where it stayed from October 1997 to March 2007. It received an anime adaptation by Madhouse that is composed of twenty-six episodes. It aired from April to September 1998. It also received an anime film adaptation titled Trigun: Badlands Rumble in 2010.
