Episodes 9-13 of TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION 2 have been postponed because of production delays caused by a high number of COVID-19 cases among the staff. Episode 8 will air as scheduled.
The official website for the series announced the information about the delay and a new schedule. TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION 2 will restart airing in October 2021 and the delayed episode 9 will air in December.
TSUKIPRO is a multi-media project that follows the careers of fifteen male idols. Season 1 of the anime came out in Fall 2017 and it had 12 episodes, while the second season started airing on July 7th, 2021. Studio PRA (number24) animated both seasons.
Shigeru Kimiya directed TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION 2, with Fujiwara credited for the original story. Satoko Sekine did series composition, while Shuntaro Innami composed the music. Studio Dynamo Pictures (that also did the CGI on Yuuri!!! on Ice) worked on the CGI for the anime.
Yuuki Ono, Junta Terashima, Shou Nogami, and Taishi Murata are starring in the anime, as well as Makoto Furukawa, Shuugo Nakamura and Souma Saitou. In addition, Natsuki Hanae, Yoshitaka Yamaya and Takuya Eguchi are also starring in the series.
The anime’s first season is available on Crunchyroll, but you can watch the second one on HiDive.
