Tsurune: The Linking Shot Reveals Opening in Creditless Version

Kyoto Animation revealed the creditless version of Tsurune: The Linking Shot opening on its YouTube channel on January 11. Luck Life is singing the opening theme song, titled simply “C.”

Tsurune: The Linking Shot – Opening

Takuya Yamamura is directing the sequel, which began broadcasting on January 4. Yamamura also directed the first season and the recent movie, which is titled Tsurune: Hajimari no Hitosa. The movie opened in Japanese theatres on August 19, 2022 and the second season was announced on the same day. The story is based on a light novel by Kotoko Ayano. It first received an anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation in the Fall of 2018. The anime had 13 episodes and a special titled Tsurune: Dangerous Shoot

The main cast members from the first season are reprising their roles and include Jun Fukuyama as Eisuke Nikaido, Kensho Ono as Shu Fujiwara, and Yuto Uemura as Minato Narumiya. HIDIVE is streaming Tsurune: The Linking Shot and describes the plot as:
Protagonist Minato Narumiya has reignited his passion for kyudo, the Japanese martial art of archery. Along with his friends in the school kyudo club, he returns for an all-new second season of Kyoto Animation’s beloved Tsurune.
