ufotable, the studio behind the popular Demon Slayer anime franchise, revealed special illustrations from the first episode of the Entertainment District arc, which is also considered season 2 of the anime. The two illustrations appeared as eye-catches in the double episode. The new arc began airing today after last week marked the end of the Mugen Train TV anime cut.
The first eye-catch shows Tanjiro, who is looking determined:
Tengen, with a smug look on his face, is on the second illustration. The Sound Hashira, voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi, will play an important role in the Entertainment District arc.
In addition to illustrations, ufotable’s official Twitter also shared a photo of the Demon Slayer episode script, which features Tengen on the cover, with a promise to post every week after the Japanese broadcast.
The Demon Slayer: Entertainment District arc is streaming on Funimation, as well as Crunchyroll this season.
Tanjiro and his friends accompany the Hashira Tengen Uzui to an entertainment district where Tengen’s female ninja agents were gathering information on a demon before they suddenly disappeared. In order to investigate, Tanjiro and the others disguise themselves as women to sneak in! As they close in on their target, the demon reaches out for the courtesans of the district!
