Season 2 of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out anime adaptation revealed the artist and the title for the ending theme song: “Happy Life” by MKLNtic. Chinozo composed the song, wrote the lyrics and also did the arrangement. Studio ENGI will be animating the sequel, set to premiere this fall, that recently revealed the first trailer:
Although we will have to wait a bit to hear the ending theme, the first Uzaki-chan Season 2 trailerpreviewed the opening theme song “Ichigo Ichie Celebration” by Kano and Uzaki-chan (Naomi Ozora). The second season is titled Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! Double and will be directed by Kazuya Miura. The main cast includes:
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is based on a manga by Take. It has been serialized on NicoNico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017. A TV anime adaptation by ENGI aired from July to September 2020.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English and describes the plot as:
Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him.
