The hit original anime series, “Vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song”, will be receiving an English dub that is set to air May 29, according to Funimation.
You can see the Tweet of AniplexUSA below:
Vivy will be voiced by Cristina Vee, who is also known for her roles as Hawk in “Seven Deadly Sins”, Killua in “Hunter x Hunter”, and Mio Akiyama in “K-On!”.
She will join her “Seven Deadly Sins” colleague, Max Mittelman, who will voice Matsumoto. Mittelman has voiced prominent roles including Saitama in “One Punch Man”, Kousei Arima in “Your Lie in April”, and Ritsu Kageyama in “Mob Psycho”.
Vivy has become a hit ever since it aired its first two episodes back on April 3, 2021. It is currently the third highest-rated anime (8.49) of the Spring season on My Anime List. Fruits Basket: The Final (8.91) and To Your Eternity (8.64) are the only ones ahead. It’s also worth noting that the series has also been a consistent Anime Corner chart-topper as well.
In case you don’t know what “Vivy: Flourite Eye’s Song” is about, you can read Funimation’s synopsis below:
An AI named Matsumoto appears before Vivy, the world’s first autonomous humanoid AI. Matsumoto’s mission is to rewrite history together with Vivy, in order to stop the war between AI and humans that will happen one century later.
