Yoshimasa Hosoya, Riho Sugiyama Will Voice in Monster Hunter Rise

At the recent Monster Hunter Rise live stream during Tokyo Game Show 2021 online, Capcom has revealed that Yoshimasa Hosoya and Riho Sugiyama’s voices will be added to the game.

The game publisher also mentioned that the voice actors will not play as supporting characters for the game. Rather, their voices will be optional for the players. These will be added as paid DLC (downloadable content).

In addition, they also announced that Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PC on January 12, 2022. Furthermore, the game will also have a demo for PC on October 13, 2021.

Yoshimasa Hosoya voiced Reiner Braun from Attack on Titan and Junpei Hyuga from Kuroko’s Basketball. Riho Sugiyama is known for her recent role as Henrietta Penrose from the Spring 2021 adaptation of anime Eighty-Six, and Minare Koda from Wave, Listen to Me!.

This is also not the first time for Hosoya to be in the Monster Hunter Franchise. He first debuted in the mobile game Monster Hunter Riders as Isai.

Capcom also announced that the latest expansion for this game is coming next Summer 2022. This will be titled ‘Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’. Likewise, additional information about this new expansion will be available on its official website.
