The Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime has once again announced a delay for the streaming release, this time for episode 8. The episode will air on September 17 in Japan, as previously announced, but will stream a day later. This delay affects both Japanese streaming services and those overseas.
The new delay follows a slew of multiple episode delays for the anime, starting off with the delay of episode 4 to July 31, episode 5 to August 13, as well as delays for episodes 7 to 9. While all of these delays have cited production issues, it is also worth noting that the release of episode 6 was delayed due to broadcasting scheduling issues in line with the recent 2023 World Athletics Championship. This is not the first streaming delay for the series either, as some of the previous episodes also came to streaming services a day after the TV broadcast.
BUG FILMS is animating the series, and is the studio’s first major work. The anime began airing this July and at one point, studio SHAFT was brought in to assist before dropping out of the production. The staff includes:
