Zom 100 Anime Episode 5 Delayed to August 13

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime has announced that episode 5 will not air this week, and that it has been delayed to August 13. There will be a special program instead. The previous episode was also delayed, though it was only released on Monday instead of its usual Sunday slot. The official announcement:

BUG FILMS is in charge of the animation for Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, and it’s directed by Kazuki Kawagoe. It has been ranking high on our weekly polls since the start, with its premiere episode even topping the ranking in week 2. The rest of the staff includes:

  • Character Design: Kii Tanaka
  • Zombie Design: Junpei Fukuchi
  • Music: Makoto Miyazaki
  • Music Selection: Maiko Gouda

The cast includes Shuichiro Umeda as the main protagonist Akira Tendo, Tomori Kusunoki as Shizuka Mikazuki, Makoto Furukawa as Kenichiro “Kencho” Ryuzaki, and Minami Takahashi as Beatrix Amerhauser. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
With three years under his belt at the company from hell, Akira Tendo is mentally and physically spent. All at the ripe old age of twenty-four. Even his crush from Accounting, Saori, wants nothing to do with him. Then, just when life is beginning to look like one big disappointment, it happens. The zombie apocalypse descends on Japan!
