The official Twitter account of the upcoming series Akebi’s Sailor Uniform has announced 12 new cast members that you can see below:
Additionally, all of the new characters play the roles of the main protagonist’s classmates. The official YouTube channel of the series will also be releasing the comments of the newly added members starting today. The 9th volume of the series will also premiere on the same day.
The previously announced cast includes Komichi Akebi (CV: Manatsu Murakami), Erika Kizaki (CV: Sora Amamiya), Touko Usagihara (CV: Akari Kitou), and Tomono Kojou (CV: Shion Wakayama).
Akebi’s Sailor Uniform is a manga series written and illustrated by Hiro. Moreover, the series has 9 volumes in total and Tonari Young jump is handling the serialization.
Miyuki Kuroki (Your Lie in April) will be the one directing the series while studio CloverWorks (The Promised Neverland) will handle the animation. The teaser and key visual were also previously released and the anime will premiere in January 2022.
The stage is a prestigious rural girls’ junior high school /Japanese allspice Academy. A girl whose dream was to wear this school’s sailor suit. Later on, her wish came true, and she was thrilled to celebrate the day of the entrance ceremony. “I decided on a sailor suit”, she said that with determination in mind. Finally, the dream junior high school life begins. Classmates, school lunches, club activities. Then, she runs through every day full of “first time” with all her might! A glittering youth diary of girls. Hence, her thoughts are: “Can I make a lot of friends?”
