Arcane: League of Legends Season 2 Set for 2024, Teaser Revealed

The League of Legends animated series, Arcane, is coming in November 2024 as announced at this year’s Geeked Week. Netflix also revealed a new teaser for its original series:

Although the second season was announced right after the premiere, it was revealed earlier this year that it would not be premiering in 2023. There were two main reasons for this decision: the staff didn’t know that the series would be a hit and they didn’t want to rush the sequel, as that would negatively impact the quality.

The first season premiered in November 2021 and was well received. Set in the past, Arcane retells the origin stories of several League of Legends characters from Piltover and Zaun. The English voice cast includes:

  • Hailee Steinfeld as Vi
  • Ella Purnell as Jinx
  • Kevin Alejandro as Jayce
  • Jason Spisak as Silco
  • Katie Leung as Caitlyn
  • Toks Olagundoye as Mel
  • J.B Blanc as Vander
  • Harry Lloyd as Viktor

Fortiche Productions was in charge of the animation. The same studio previously worked on the animated features for the game. The first part had 3 arcs with a total of 9 episodes, each lasting about 40 minutes. The animated series was a new addition to the highly popular game.
