Voice actress and singer Azusa Tadokoro is releasing her 14th single, “Private Room,” soon. The upcoming song has also been chosen as the ending theme for the second season of Mononogatari, which is scheduled to premiere this July. The release date will be announced later via her official Twitter account.
Following the success of Tadokoro’s previous single, “Drum-shiki Tansaki,” lyricist Kosuke Oki and composer John Kanda, who was also involved with creating the BGM music for Mononogatari, will collaborate once again in “Private Room.”
“I feel incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to perform the ending theme for the second season of Mononogatari. “Private Room” was crafted around the theme of “words,” which resonates with the challenges faced by Botan-chan, the anime’s heroine, as well as with the issues we encounter in our modern lives. I was also very impressed with the gorgeous ending animation. I hope you will enjoy it along with the music,” the artist commented regarding her latest single picked as the ending song.
Azusa Tadokoro is a voice actress affiliated with talent agency HoriPro Internation and is known for voicing Shizuka Mogami in The Idolmaster: Million Live!, Moroha in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, Chtholly Nota Seniorious in WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?, Symboli Rudolf in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Season 2, Kaoru Seta in BanG Dream!, and Aoi Kiriya, Yuzu Nikaido, Karen Kamishiro in the Aikatsu! series.
Aside from being a voice actress, she’s also a singer under the record label Lantis who currently has 4 albums and 13 singles released. Moreover, she performed the opening song of By the Grace of the Gods and the ending themes of In the Land of Leadale, Myriad Colors Phantom World, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
