BLEACH anime is back after 10 years and what better way to celebrate its return than with a collaboration with the world’s favorite soda – Coca-Cola? The special edition drink, which is a part of the Zero lineup, features unique packaging with Ichigo and BLEACH’s signature orange color. The collaboration launched on October 10 and is limited to Japan, but some online stores do ship overseas.
One such store is Sugoi Mart where cans of the BLEACH SOUL BLAST Coca-Cola drink can be bought for 10$. However, the slogan on their website raised some eyebrows, presumably on purpose. “Ever wondered what Bleach tastes like? TASTE THE ACTION!” is prominently featured on the reseller’s website.
Sugoi Mart posted a video of the product on their Instagram, stating that “no cleaning supplies can be found in the drink.” Lucky fans in Japan can visit the atmos pop-up shop that hosts both the vending machines for the drink and various Bleach merchandise.
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War began broadcasting this season. The anime is set to run for four cours. Masakazu Morita and Yuki Matsuoka are reprising their roles as Ichigo and Orihime, with the main staff returning. Takayuki Sugo is joining as Yhwatch. Tatsuya Kitani is performing the opening theme “Scar“, while SennaRin is singing the ending “Saihate“. Studio Pierrot, which worked on the original BLEACH anime, returned for the new season.
