Weekly Shonen Jump was serializing “BLEACH” from 2001 to 2016. The manga had 73 volumes in total. It also had a 366 episode long anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot. To top it off, during Bleach’s 20th anniversary, it was announced that the “Thousand-Year Blood War” arc will receive an anime adaptation in the future.
A special 73 page long one-shot for the series is also available on the Manga Plus website. It came out on August 9, 2021.
You can read BLEACH’s synopsis below:
Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts—he was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow—a malevolent lost soul—Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits themselves find peace.
