BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense Season 2 ended yesterday and to celebrate the finale, three news illustrations have been revealed along with new cast information. The final episode, titled “Maxing Defense and the Big Final Battle,” introduced four new characters that are featured in the new visual:
Ayako Kawasumi (Velvet), Minami Shinoda (Hinata), Shizuka Ito (Lily), Minami Shinoda, and Atsushi Tamaru (Wilbert) have joined the cast of BOFURI anime series. The third season has not been announced, although Ayako Kawasumi and Minami Shinoda’s comments to fans, published on the Comic Natalie website, imply that there will be a future for Maple and her friends.
The original light novel illustrator KOIN and BOFURI manga artist Jiro Oimoto both drew celebratory illustrations to commemorate the successful finale of the second season:
The second season of BOFURI anime began airing in January of this year, but it faced two delays: one ahead of the 7th episode and the other ahead of the 11th. Studio SILVER LINK animated the sequel and the staff included:
BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense (Itai no wa Iya nano de Bogyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu) is a Japanese light novel series written by Yumikan and illustrated by Koin. The manga adaptation by Jiro Oimoto has been ongoing in Comp Ace magazine since 2018.
