TV Anime “By the Grace of the Gods” season 2 has been announced! On June 4, 2021, the official Twitter account for the anime tweeted that a phase 2 production has been decided. In case you missed it, “By the Graced of the Gods” season 1 aired in the Fall 2020 season with a total of 12 episodes.

In case you didn’t know, “By the Grace of the Gods” is a Japanese light novel by is Roy. Hobby Japan started publishing it in September 2017. The novel is still ongoing and currently has 10 volumes.
What’s more, it inspired a manga adaptation. Square Enix started publishing it in November 2017 in Manga UP magazine. The manga is still running and currently has 6 volumes.
Lastly, an anime adaptation of the series aired in the Fall 2020 season with a total of 12 episodes. A season 2 of the anime was already confirmed but there is still no exact premiere date.
Under the protection of the gods, a relaxed life with slimes in another world begins! One day, the life of middle-aged Japanese businessman Ryoma Takebayashi came to a rather sudden and disappointing end.
