Café LycoReco Posts Photo of Kurumi Enjoying Sweets on a Tropical Island

The cafe shop from the Lycoris Recoil original anime, Café LycoReco, posted on Wednesday a photo of Kurumi enjoying sweets on a tropical island. The anime’s final, 13th episode aired on September 24, and, in five days, the shop’s account posted a selfie of Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue on a vacation.

The newly-posted photo shows Kurumi holding a fork in the right hand with good appetite in front of many kinds of sweets from doughnuts to ice cream on plates. The tweet came with a caption by Mizuki Nakahara “You sure eat well, huh…

The anime’s official Twitter account quote-tweeted to react with a drooling face emoji: “A-As expected [of Kurumi]

Misaki Kuno, known for her roles as Hawk in Seven Deadly Sins and Faputa in Maide in Abyss, voiced Kurumi, while Ami Koshimizu, known for her roles as Holo in Spice and Wolf and Ryuko Matoi in Kill la Kill, played Mizuki Nakahara in the Lycoris Recoil anime.

The original Lycoris Recoil anime aired from July to September 2022. The story was written by Asaura, known for his battles-over-bento-boxes light novel Ben-To, while the characters were designed by Imigimuru, the author of This Art Club Has a Problem manga. Shingo Adachi, who is known as the chief animation director and character designer of the Sword Art Online series, directed the series. The anime was voted by fans as Anime Corner’s Best Anime of the Summer 2022 Season, and one of the main characters, Chisato Nishikigi won the Best Girl of the season.
